Chen Xiaoyi Wins Top Prize at Taoyuan Spring Lufeng Oolong Tea Competition

Taoyuan's Lufeng Oolong tea has once again demonstrated its superior quality, with local farmer Chen Xiaoyi securing the coveted top prize at the Spring Lufeng Oolong Tea Grading Competition. This event, organized with support from the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Agriculture, highlights the region's commitment to nurturing its rich tea heritage.

The competition, which saw 58 entries this year, rigorously assessed each tea based on its visual appeal, including shape and color, as well as the nuanced qualities of its water color, aroma, and taste. The victory by Chen Xiaoyi is a testament to the dedication and skill of our local tea farmers, who cultivate exceptional teas in the unique microclimate of the Lufeng tea area in Luzhu District.
