Chief Fire Officer donates 300 cleaning materials to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital

The Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of Ghana, Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sapong, has made a significant donation of 300 cleaning materials to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. This act of generosity serves as a token of appreciation for the hospital's dedicated support and care provided to firefighters who have sustained injuries while performing their duties.

A delegation from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), led by Director of ICT, Deputy Chief Fire Officer (DCFO) Henry Giwah, and Greater Accra Regional Fire Officer, Assistant Chief Fire Officer II (ACFO II) Rashid Kwame Nisawu, presented the items, which included mops and sweeping brushes, on behalf of the CFO.

DCFO Giwah commended the management and staff of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for their unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the public. He specifically acknowledged their crucial role in treating injured firefighters, emphasizing that the donation underscores the CFO's dedication to strengthening the partnership between the GNFS and the hospital.

Receiving the donation, the Chief Executive Officer of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr. Yakubu Seidu Adam, expressed his sincere gratitude to the CFO and the entire GNFS. He assured the delegation that the cleaning materials would be utilized effectively to uphold hygiene standards within the hospital. Dr. Adam also reaffirmed Korle Bu's commitment to nurturing the strong and cordial relationship with the Ghana National Fire Service.
