Child and Two Men Injured in Arad After Car Collides With Police Vehicle

A collision between a car and a police vehicle in Arad on Wednesday evening resulted in injuries to three individuals, including a child. The accident occurred at the intersection of Corneliu Coposu Street and Ștefan Augustin Doinaș Street.

The injured parties were taken to the hospital for treatment. They include the 31-year-old driver of the car, a child who was a passenger in the vehicle, and a 48-year-old man who was a passenger in the police car. The police vehicle was being driven by a 24-year-old officer.

Authorities reported that both drivers tested negative for alcohol and psychoactive substances following the incident. The Arad County Police Inspectorate confirmed the details of the injured and the negative sobriety tests.

An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident. A criminal case has been initiated for negligent bodily harm as authorities continue their inquiry into the circumstances of the collision.
