Child Missing in Drava River; Extensive Search Underway with Services and Volunteers

An intensive search operation is ongoing for a child who disappeared in the Drava River near Selnica Podravska on Wednesday evening. Emergency services and local volunteers have mobilized in a large-scale effort to locate the missing individual.

Ivan Sabolić, the head of the Legrad Municipality, stated that the search is currently focused on the area from the local bathing spot to the bridge in Donja Dubrava. The operation also extends to the old course of the Drava River between Selnica Podravska and Donja Dubrava. Sabolić indicated that the search area could be further expanded if the situation requires it, emphasizing that all available services are engaged in the operation.
