Children Treated to Resort Experience

Children from Saint Mina’s Home in Nadi experienced a day of fun and engagement at the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji on Denarau Island over the weekend.

The special outing featured a buffet lunch, various games, and engaging activities, all organized as part of the Radisson Hotel Group's global outreach program. This initiative is a key component of the group's June Global Activation Month, which focuses worldwide on people, community, and the planet under the theme 'Turning Intention into Action.'

Amirah Hasna, the Hotel Manager, led the event alongside resort executives and staff. Hasna stated the team's desire to translate their sense of responsibility into tangible support for the local community. Resort staff not only served the meal but also participated actively in games and activities with the children. The resort's Responsible Business team further contributed by donating educational and sporting supplies aimed at fostering both learning and play.

Beyond this special event, the resort maintains an ongoing relationship with Saint Mina’s Home through a weekly arrangement. This partnership provides the children with space at the hotel to sell handmade crafts, creating income opportunities and promoting community inclusion. This consistent support underscores the resort's commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and the broader community.
