China fireworks factory blast kills 21, injures 61

A devastating explosion at the Huasheng Fireworks plant in Hunan province has tragically claimed the lives of 21 individuals and left 61 others wounded, according to state media reports. Authorities have reportedly taken control measures against the person in charge of the fireworks company as investigations into the cause of the blast commence. The presence of two gunpowder warehouses within the factory area posed significant risks during the rescue efforts, prompting measures such as humidifying the area to prevent secondary incidents.
