Chinese executives may join Xi’s US trip as trade truce extension nears

Chinese and US officials are in discussions regarding the possibility of business leaders accompanying President Xi Jinping on his upcoming visit to the United States next month. This potential inclusion is being considered as both nations prepare to extend a one-year trade agreement that was initially established in Busan last October.

This follows President Trump's own visit to Beijing in May, where he was accompanied by a significant delegation of top American CEOs, including executives from major companies like Tesla, Apple, Nvidia, and Boeing.
