CJ CheilJedang sends 3,000 relief meals to flood-hit South Korean cities

CJ CheilJedang has stepped in to support residents in Geoje and Tongyeong, areas in Gyeongnam Province severely impacted by recent heavy rainfall and flooding. The company announced on the 26th that it is providing 3,000 units of emergency relief goods to help those affected by the disaster.

The donation consists of a variety of convenient food items, including Hetbahn (instant rice), Hetbahn Sottban, Bibigo soups, Spam, and roasted chestnuts. This selection prioritizes products that can be consumed immediately, recognizing the difficulties residents may face in accessing cooking facilities due to the flood damage.

CJ CheilJedang coordinated the distribution of these essential supplies with the National Disaster Relief Association to ensure they reach those most in need efficiently. The company's initiative aims to offer immediate comfort and sustenance to the affected communities as they begin to recover from the devastating floods.
