CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke diagnosed with typhoid, says agitation will continue

Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), announced on Saturday that he has been diagnosed with typhoid. Despite his illness, Dipke vowed that his condition would not impede the ongoing movement demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

In a social media video message, Dipke stated he had been unwell for several days and was currently undergoing treatment, including daily intravenous medication. He expressed gratitude to CJP supporters across the country for maintaining peaceful protests and ensuring the movement's momentum. "I want to thank all the cockroaches who are protesting peacefully across the country," he said.

As you know, I have been unwell for the last few days. The reports are out and I have been diagnosed with typhoid.

Dipke congratulated supporters for the movement's expansion and expressed confidence that sustained peaceful protests would lead to their primary objective: Pradhan's resignation. The CJP-led agitation, initiated over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations, seeks accountability in the examination system, reforms in recruitment and entrance tests, and the minister's removal.

Activist Sonam Wangchuk had previously joined the agitation and observed a 26-day hunger strike. He ended his fast after receiving written assurances from the central government regarding no cases against peaceful protesters, discussions on examination reforms in Parliament, and positive consideration for compensation for families of students who died by suicide following the alleged NEET paper leak.

Despite Wangchuk's decision to end his hunger strike, the CJP has stated that its protest at Jantar Mantar will continue until Minister Pradhan resigns.
