Communities rally behind Fouzmin's vision for life-changing eye treatment

A young woman's quest for sight-restoring treatment in India has ignited a powerful wave of community support in Fiji. Fouzmin Shagufa Nisha, who lost her vision in childhood, has demonstrated remarkable resilience, completing her education and contributing to non-government organizations.

Highlanders Helping Hands and 4R Electrical & General Contractors Limited spearheaded a fundraising drive, organizing a football tournament and a dinner night to gather the necessary funds for Fouzmin's medical care. The event drew players, sponsors, volunteers, and donors, all contributing to her goal of regaining her sight.

Education Minister Aseri Masivou Radrodro lauded the initiative, emphasizing that the collective support showcases the profound strength of communities uniting to make a tangible difference in individuals' lives. Every contribution, big or small, brings Fouzmin closer to her dream of seeing again.
