Constitutional Review Commission to submit final report

Fiji’s constitutional review process is reaching its next stage as the Constitutional Review Commission submits its final report to President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu.

The report follows months of consultations across the country. The commission travelled throughout Fiji to hear views from communities, villages, organisations, institutions and other stakeholders about the Constitution and the country’s constitutional future.

With consultations complete, attention now turns to the commission’s findings and recommendations. The submission ends its consultation mandate and opens the next phase of Fiji’s constitutional review.
