Cyclist runs red light, collides with three pedestrians in Bad Kreuznach

A collision occurred in Bad Kreuznach when a cyclist reportedly disregarded a red traffic signal, resulting in an accident involving three pedestrians. According to police, the pedestrians were crossing the street legally on a green light when the cyclist failed to stop.

The impact left one female pedestrian with serious injuries, though they are not considered life-threatening. The cyclist and two other pedestrians sustained minor injuries. Emergency services transported two of the pedestrians to the hospital for treatment.

During the aftermath of the accident, police encountered interference from onlookers who were filming the scene. These individuals were issued dispersal orders for obstructing the work of emergency personnel. The Wilhelmstraße was consequently closed for approximately 30 minutes in one direction while the accident was being documented by authorities.
