"Delfi" launches long-term technology section: Important answers for everyone

Lithuanian media outlet "Delfi" has launched "Technology for Every Day," a new, ongoing initiative dedicated to making technology more accessible and understandable for everyone. This is not a short-term campaign but a continuously updated digital literacy space designed to help people grasp the benefits and complexities of technology in their daily lives.

The "Technology for Every Day" section will feature clearly written articles on topics such as artificial intelligence in everyday life, stress-free internet usage, digital security, smartphone functions, and content consumption habits. "Technology is no longer just a topic for specialists or enthusiasts. It influences every decision we make – from how we work and communicate to how we protect our data," said "Delfi's" content project and conference manager, Gabrielė Budrienė.

The project focuses on practical solutions to real-world problems rather than abstract technological concepts. Content will be developed by journalists, drawing on real-life situations, user experiences, and frequently asked questions. Expert commentary will be included to explain complex subjects reliably. "We see that people have very diverse questions – from the capabilities of artificial intelligence to data protection or protecting themselves from scammers," noted Audrius Stasiulaitis, Head of Sustainability and Communications for Private Clients at Telia, a partner in the initiative.

"Our goal is to help people filter reliable information, explain complex topics simply, and provide practical knowledge that can be applied immediately," Stasiulaitis added. "The better we understand technology, the safer and more confident we feel in the digital world." A unique feature of the project is an interactive learning system on a special platform where readers can track their progress across different topics.
