Desmond Elliot denies feud with Gbajabiamila, seeks fourth term in Lagos Assembly

In a move that has stirred conversations within Lagos State, Nollywood actor-turned-lawmaker Desmond Elliot has officially announced his bid for a fourth term representing Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly. This declaration comes amidst swirling rumors of a political feud with Femi Gbajabiamila, the current Chief of Staff to the President and former Speaker of the House. Elliot, however, was quick to dispel these reports, characterizing them as unfounded propaganda and reaffirming his loyalty to Gbajabiamila.

I don’t have any issue with him. Our leader is a compassionate leader, a leader of thought. I mean, we are children. Children sometimes err. If I have erred in any way, my leader, I am sorry. Give me another chance and let’s move on, and let’s bring more dividends of democracy to the people.
