Diesel prices rise slightly on Monday morning

Diesel prices saw a slight increase on Monday morning, reaching an average of 1.871 Eur/l. This marks a 0.4% rise from Thursday's average of 1.864 Eur/l. The data, collected from 72 fuel retailers operating 745 stations, shows a range of diesel prices from 1.680 Eur/l to 2.039 Eur/l on Friday morning.

In contrast, gasoline prices experienced a minor decrease. The average gasoline price fell by 0.3% to 1.725 Eur/l on Friday morning, down from 1.730 Eur/l the previous day. Retail prices for gasoline varied between 1.589 Eur/l and 1.999 Eur/l.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices also declined, with the average price at 0.757 Eur/l, a 0.4% drop from Thursday. Prices ranged from 0.620 Eur/l to 0.899 Eur/l.

Wholesale prices reflect these trends, with gasoline at 1.63 Eur/l and diesel at 1.82 Eur/l on July 16. These are up from 1.61 Eur/l for gasoline and 1.76 Eur/l for diesel on July 15. Meanwhile, the 'Brent' crude oil price stood at $84.23 per barrel on July 16, slightly down from $84.95 the day before.
