During a meeting with a Google delegation led by Senior Director David Weller, Chaudhry emphasized the need for platforms to consider Pakistan's "specific conditions." The discussions focused on enhancing digital security, effectively using social media to combat terrorism, and regulating online content in a timely manner. Chaudhry stated Pakistan's desire to strengthen cooperation with Google for a secure digital environment, noting the country's distinct geographical and security landscape. He highlighted the use of social media by terrorists to spread fear and stressed the importance of proactive monitoring given Pakistan's situation. David Weller, representing Google, pledged the company's cooperation with Islamabad to foster a safe digital space. This meeting occurred shortly after Google inaugurated its first local office in Pakistan, an event attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who expressed optimism about a fruitful partnership.
