Don’t impose unpopular candidates, Ondo APC elders tell Aiyedatiwa

The convener of the forum, Ademola Ijabiyi, speaking at a medical outreach event, stressed that while the elders support any primary mode the party adopts, the governor must ensure inclusivity in the candidate selection process. "We are not an appendage of the government or the governor. We are independent elders working for the election of President Bola Tinubu," Ijabiyi stated, highlighting the forum's independent stance and commitment to the party's broader goals.
