DPRD Retreat Concludes, Lemhannas Hopes for Central-Regional Policy Alignment

The recent retreat for the Chairpersons of Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) across Indonesia has successfully concluded, marking a significant step towards fostering greater synergy between the central government and regional administrations. Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas), Ace Hasan Syadzily, who organized the event, expressed his hope that this gathering would effectively harmonize policies, ensuring that regional development aligns with the overarching national strategy within the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

The retreat, held from April 15th to April 19th, brought together 503 participants, fostering an environment of shared understanding and strategic alignment.

The program was designed to be comprehensive, covering essential aspects of national leadership and governance. Participants engaged in discussions on strengthening national values, reflecting on Indonesia's historical struggles, and understanding the complexities of global political dynamics. A key highlight was the special address by President Prabowo Subianto, who shared insights into current developments and strategic government policies. Additionally, various ministers provided valuable input on national priority programs, spanning critical areas such as domestic governance, food and energy security, health, and human resource development through education.

Furthermore, the retreat addressed the critical role of regional leaders in upholding integrity and supporting national development agendas. Sessions on law enforcement were delivered by the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Polri). The participants were urged to apply the knowledge gained to support the 'Indonesia Emas 2045' vision, underscoring the strategic importance of their roles as decision-makers at the regional level.
