Driver with Illegal Tint and No License Arrested in Almaty

A 23-year-old Almaty resident has been sentenced to 30 days of administrative arrest and a substantial fine for brazenly disregarding traffic laws. The driver, who had previously been stripped of his driving privileges, was apprehended after video footage of his violations circulated on social media.

The footage captured the driver on Raiymbek Avenue operating a Hyundai Elantra with illegal window tinting and no license plates. He was seen ignoring road markings and executing dangerous maneuvers, demonstrating a clear disregard for public safety and traffic regulations.

Police identified the individual and discovered his prior loss of driving privileges. He was subsequently held administratively liable under several articles, including illegal maneuvering, operating a vehicle without license plates, illegal tinting, failure to comply with road markings, and driving without a valid license. The case materials were forwarded to the Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court of Almaty, which imposed the sentence.
