East Coast, Jeju to See Rain as Peak Perceived Temperatures Ease to 33 Degrees Celsius

South Korea is anticipating a slight reprieve from extreme heat as rain is forecast for the eastern coast and Jeju Island on Monday morning. While the peak perceived temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, a notable decrease from the intense heatwaves of the previous week, many regions will still experience heatwave advisories.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasts that rain will fall in the Gangwon East Coast and mountainous areas, as well as in the Yeongnam region until Monday morning.
