Ecobici Enables Bike Stations for América vs. Pumas Match; Special Service and Road Closures at Estadio Banorte

For the highly anticipated América vs. Pumas match, Mexico City's Ecobici system is rolling out special provisions to accommodate fans. Recognizing the significant influx of attendees, five provisional cycle stations have been strategically placed in the vicinity of Estadio Banorte, ensuring that those opting for a sustainable commute have ample options for bike drop-off and pick-up.

This initiative reflects a broader effort by the city's mobility authorities to manage large-scale events effectively. Beyond the bike stations, the Secretariat of Mobility (SEMOVI) has announced perimeter closures on key avenues such as Santa Úrsula, Circuito Azteca, Del Imán, and Calzada de Tlalpan, restricting vehicular access. Pedestrian access will be prioritized for ticket holders and local residents, with designated walking routes established from points like Paseo Acoxpa and the El Vergel light rail station.
