Ecuador, Peru to Bolster Southern Border Security with Drones, Sensors

Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa announced a significant reinforcement of security along the country's southern border with Peru, a move he will discuss with Peru's President-elect Keiko Fujimori. Noboa stated that technology, including sensors and drones, will be deployed to rapidly detect illegal entries. He emphasized the critical nature of this border, revealing that "70% of the weapons and explosives that enter" Ecuador originate from this southern frontier.
