Mohamed Ali Fahim, head of the Climate Change Information Center at Egypt’s Agricultural Research Center, announced the heatwave warning. He explained that weather patterns indicate a continuation of hot to extremely hot temperatures across the majority of Egypt. This persistent heat is expected to be accompanied by elevated humidity levels, exacerbating the discomfort and potential health risks.
