Egypt's Sharqia Governorate Enhances Village Services Through Initiative

The Sharqia Governorate in Egypt is continuing its "A Day in the Life of Every Village" initiative, now in its third week, aiming to elevate the quality of services provided to citizens. Governor Hazem Al-Ashmouni emphasized the importance of these efforts, which are being conducted in the local unit of Al-Munir, within the Mashtool El Souk center.

The initiative seeks to bring governmental services directly to villagers, simplifying access and reducing the need for residents to travel to various administrative offices. This week's activities have spanned several vital sectors, including road maintenance, waste removal, and clearing obstructions from local streets to improve traffic flow.

Public lighting has also been a focus, with maintenance and upgrades performed on 15 lighting poles along Al-Munir's main road, enhancing visibility and safety. Furthermore, progress has been made in infrastructure development, with the handover of sewage lines in Al-Nafouri, aimed at boosting the sewage service level for residents.

Governor Al-Ashmouni reiterated that the initiative reflects the executive authorities' commitment to reaching all villages weekly, fostering direct communication with citizens, and responding promptly to their needs. He stressed the importance of continuing and expanding these activities to include other local units across the governorate.
