Eight dead in Michigan: Father allegedly shot family before setting house ablaze

Authorities in Michigan are investigating a horrific incident after eight bodies were discovered in a house fire in Grand Haven Township. Preliminary findings suggest a grim scenario: a 47-year-old father allegedly shot his six children and 39-year-old wife before turning the gun on himself.

The discovery was made last Friday when emergency services responded to the fire. Autopsies performed on the victims confirmed that the father was responsible for the deaths of his family members. Investigators are now working to determine the exact cause of the fire, but current evidence points to it being deliberately set in multiple locations throughout the house shortly after the killings.
