Ekiti Election Not a Coronation, PDP Candidate Warns Against Undermining Democratic Will

Dr. Oluwole Oluyede, the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, has strongly refuted suggestions that the forthcoming June 20 election will be a mere coronation for the incumbent. Oluyede asserts that such claims are not only undemocratic but also serve to undermine the genuine will of the electorate, framing the election as a crucial contest of ideas and credibility.

Speaking through his media aide, Oluyede characterized the election as a competitive exercise, pushing back against narratives that suggest a predetermined outcome.
