'El Mago Pop' visits NASA facilities in Houston

Antonio Díaz, known globally as 'El Mago Pop,' recently toured NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The Spanish illusionist described the visit as a profound source of inspiration for his career. Díaz is currently developing what he calls one of the most ambitious illusions of his life, an act that will explore the realms of space and technology.

During his visit, Díaz expressed deep gratitude to the NASA engineers, technicians, and professionals who welcomed him. "For someone who has spent a lifetime asserting that nothing is impossible, being here and meeting them has been profoundly moving," Díaz stated in a release. He emphasized that NASA personnel work daily to turn the impossible into reality, calling them an inspiration to the world and considering the experience a privilege.

The magician received a special welcome, with a sign reading 'Welcome El Mago Pop' at the entrance to the Apollo mission control center, an iconic space within the Johnson Space Center. This visit comes as Díaz prepares for his upcoming October show in Barcelona, titled 'Nada es Imposible' (Nothing is Impossible). He previously brought his magic to Broadway in New York in July 2023.
