EndSARS unrest: LSDPC rehabilitates damaged LASTMA station, donates two operational vehicles

The Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC) has completed the rehabilitation of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) Zone 25 office. This station, which serves the Bariga and Oworonshoki areas, was destroyed during the widespread #EndSARS unrest in 2020.

The rebuilding effort is part of LSDPC's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. In addition to restoring the damaged infrastructure, the corporation donated two brand-new operational vehicles to LASTMA. These vehicles are intended to support the authority's traffic management operations.

The rehabilitation and donation signify a commitment to restoring public infrastructure and supporting essential services in Lagos following the significant disruptions caused by the 2020 protests. The move aims to enhance LASTMA's capacity to manage traffic effectively in the affected corridors.
