Equestrian judge suspended after video shows her kicking and whipping horse

The Polish Equestrian Federation has suspended an equestrian judge following the release of disturbing video footage showing her allegedly kicking and whipping a horse. The incident has sparked outrage and led to swift action by the federation.

Aleksandra Ch., the judge in question, has been suspended from all rights and privileges associated with her membership in the federation for three months. This includes her rights as both a rider and a judge. A disciplinary procedure has also been launched against her.

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Equestrian Federation expresses its strong outrage in connection with the revealed recordings, illustrating brutal behavior towards a horse, committed by a person who is a member of the Federation and also a judge of the PZJ.

The Kujawsko-Pomorskie Equestrian Federation expressed strong condemnation of the revealed footage, describing the behavior as brutal. They confirmed that the case is being processed by the relevant commissions and the Disciplinary Spokesperson, who has imposed the precautionary measure of suspending all rights stemming from membership.

While the video is considered credible evidence, the Polish Equestrian Federation emphasized that the commission of the acts is only presumed at this stage. The final determination of guilt will be made following a thorough investigation. Nevertheless, the seriousness of the allegations and the public nature of the case necessitated the immediate suspension and referral to the prosecutor's office.

In connection with the objective credibility of the video material available to the Spokesperson, illustrating brutal conduct towards horses, the gravity of the charges, the public nature of the matter, and the fact that Aleksandra (...) holds PZJ judging qualifications, it became necessary to initiate an explanatory procedure by the PZJ Disciplinary Spokesperson.
