Ex-BGN Leaders Dadan Cs Still Under Examination, Here's Their Legal Status

Three former leaders of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), including its ex-head Dadan Hindayana, are currently undergoing examination by the Attorney General's Office in Jakarta concerning alleged corruption. The trio, identified as Dadan Hindayana, Lodewijk Pusung, and Sony Sonjaya, were brought in by investigators early Wednesday morning.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the questioning process was still ongoing. Officials confirmed that their legal status has not yet been elevated to that of suspects, with sources indicating they are still being treated as witnesses. The Attorney General's Office is expected to provide a public update on the legal developments later on Wednesday.

The investigation into the three former leaders comes shortly after President Prabowo Subianto dismissed them from their top positions. These leaders were responsible for overseeing the government's flagship 'Free Nutritious Meal' program, which aims to provide meals to students across Indonesia.
