Ex-LG Chair, Frank Ilaboya, Joins Edo Assembly Race

The political landscape in Edo State is heating up as Frank Ilaboya, a former Chairman of Owan West local government area, has officially entered the race for the Edo State House of Assembly seat representing Owan West. Ilaboya, who also boasts experience as a former Chairman of the Edo Football Association and ex-Chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Lagos State chapter, has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination and expression of interest forms.

Speaking to journalists after picking up the forms in Benin City, Ilaboya exuded confidence, attributing his optimism to the party's commitment to internal democracy. He lauded the APC leadership for providing a level playing field for all aspirants, emphasizing that this fairness presents a significant opportunity for him to demonstrate his deep grassroots support during the upcoming primaries.
