FACT: AI supercomputer is among the most powerful in the world

Denmark has taken a significant leap forward in its technological capabilities with the opening of access to Gefion, its most powerful supercomputer. This state-of-the-art facility, a product of collaboration between the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the Danish Export and Investment Fund (EIFO), and tech giant Nvidia, was inaugurated in October 2024. Gefion's immense computational power, derived from Nvidia's advanced microchips, is now available to a wide range of Danish entities, including businesses, startups, organizations, and researchers.
