Felda Community Steps In to Aid Fire Victims in Felda Jengka 12

The spirit of community solidarity shone brightly in Felda Jengka 12 as local leaders and Felda management rallied to assist a settler family whose home was destroyed by fire. The blaze occurred around 10:30 p.m. the previous night, leaving Selamah@Esah Hassan and her two family members with only the clothes on their backs.

Razak Daud, Chairman of the Local Social and Community Bureau of the Jengka Region, confirmed that immediate initial aid was provided as soon as the incident was reported. "The immediate assistance was delivered to alleviate the burden of the victims who lost their homes and essential items due to the fire. We hope the victims and their families continue to be strong in facing this test," he told Utusan Malaysia.

Also present to offer contributions were the Coordinator of the Pulau Tawar State Legislative Assembly, NorSarfinaz Mohd. Azman, Felda Jengka 12 Manager Mohd. Amir Jusoh, and Felda Jengka 12 Chief Settler Mohd. Taufik Mansor. Razak highlighted the close cooperation between Felda management, community leaders, and local residents, which enabled swift aid delivery.

He welcomed any parties wishing to extend further assistance to the affected family to help them rebuild their lives. "The relevant parties are assessing the victims' further needs while awaiting a full investigation into the cause of the fire," Razak added.
