Fenggu Mobilizes for Cleanup Ahead of Penghu Tourism Season

The island paradise of Penghu is gearing up for its peak tourist season, and the residents of Fenggui Village are taking proactive steps to ensure its pristine beauty is ready to welcome visitors. A large-scale cleanup operation, spearheaded by the Fenggui Village Office and Community Development Association, saw around 150 enthusiastic participants dedicating their time and effort to beautify the local environment.

Fenggu is located at the last stop of Magong, Penghu, in the southern part of the island, with tourist attractions such as Fenggu Listening to the Waves and Shetou Mountain.

This initiative, which took place on April 18th, focused on clearing trash and debris from Fenggui's scenic coastline and surrounding public spaces. The effort highlights the community's commitment to preserving the natural charm that draws tourists to attractions like Fenggu Listening to the Waves and Shetou Mountain. The participation of local leaders, including Magong Mayor Huang Chien-chung, underscores the significance of this collective endeavor.
