Fiji Meat Board Certification Boosts Export Opportunities

Fiji's meat export prospects are set to improve following the Fiji Meat Industry Board's attainment of internationally recognized HACCP Australia Certification. This achievement is also anticipated to elevate food safety standards across the nation's livestock industry.

Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry, Inosi Kuridrani, stated that the certification offers a globally recognized framework for managing food safety risks throughout the meat production process. He emphasized that this will bolster consumer confidence and strengthen Fiji's position in the international meat market.
