Flycam deployed to search for child lost for days in Dak Lak

In the Hòa Sơn commune of Vietnam's Đắk Lắk province, a determined search is underway for a missing 15-year-old boy, L.V.M., who has been lost for several days. Hundreds of local residents and functional forces are collaborating in the effort, expanding their search into forested areas and difficult terrain.

The urgency of the situation is heightened by the fact that L.V.M. has an intellectual disability. This condition significantly impacts his ability to recognize his surroundings, communicate his needs, and navigate independently, making his prolonged absence particularly concerning.

To aid in the extensive search, local authorities have requested and received support in the form of a drone (flycam). This technology will help cover a wider area, including remote forests and streams, where the boy might be located. Furthermore, to guarantee the absolute safety of the search teams, the commune's Military Command has requested the temporary suspension of live-fire exercises in the vicinity.
