FM meets Jordanian counterparts, voices full support for Amman

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, offering Cairo's unwavering support to Amman during a critical juncture. Abdelatty underscored Egypt's strong condemnation of any threats to Jordan and highlighted Cairo's ongoing efforts to ease regional tensions.

Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s full support for Jordan and its solidarity with the Jordanian leadership, government, and people during what he described as a critical time.

The discussions between the two top diplomats also focused on the sensitive US-Iran negotiations, with both sides agreeing on the necessity of increased coordination to foster de-escalation and bring an end to ongoing conflicts. This shared stance reflects a broader regional desire for stability and a move away from confrontation.

They also voiced shared condemnation of Israeli violations in the West Bank, signaling a united front in addressing these pressing issues and a commitment to strengthening bilateral ties to navigate complex regional challenges.
