On the occasion of the revered Mazu's birthday, the palace, through its charitable association, donated its third ambulance to the Keelung City Fire Department. According to Zheng Xiuqing, the chairperson of the Beisheng Charity Association, the initiative to donate ambulances began in 2010 following a divine instruction from Mazu herself.
