Forest Fire in Çanakkale's Bayramiç Controlled

A forest fire that erupted in the Hacıbekirler village area of Çanakkale's Bayramiç district has been successfully brought under control. The blaze, which began at approximately 3:56 PM local time, was contained by 9:30 PM on Sunday.

The fire in the forest outside the district in Çanakkale Bayramiç has been brought under control. We are continuing cooling efforts in the area.

Emergency teams remain on the scene, continuing their efforts to cool the affected area and prevent any resurgence of the flames. The Çanakkale Governorship expressed gratitude to the personnel from the Forestry Organization, other public institutions, and volunteers who demonstrated dedication in their efforts to combat the fire.
