Titin Rita Lestari, a former technical controller for the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) in South Sumatra, is challenging her designation as a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) through a pre-trial motion filed at the South Jakarta District Court.

The case involves allegations of bribery aimed at influencing the audit of the Muara Enim regional government's finances for the 2025 fiscal year. The KPK stated that the audit, conducted in early 2026, uncovered findings exceeding materiality limits. According to the KPK's investigation, the Regent of Muara Enim, Edison, allegedly instructed an official to arrange the audit results through intermediaries, leading to negotiations for a fee of approximately Rp 1.6 billion (about $100,000 USD) to alter the findings.
