Forward Álex Reyes is set to become the first signing for Asisa Joventut for the 2026-27 basketball season. The 32-year-old player arrives in Badalona after two strong seasons with Baxi Manresa, where he established himself as a key offensive contributor.

During his tenure at Manresa, Reyes achieved his best performance in the Liga Endesa, averaging 13.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. His consistent scoring and rebounding made him a valuable asset for Baxi Manresa.

Reyes has signed a two-year deal with Asisa Joventut, which includes an option for a third season. He recently paid his release clause of €35,000 to Baxi Manresa, despite having a contract that extended until June 2028. This move signals Joventut's intent to strengthen its roster for the upcoming campaigns.

With Reyes's arrival, Asisa Joventut currently has one confirmed small forward on its roster. The team is awaiting clarity on the situation of Yannick Kraag, who has been signed by Dubai but might be loaned back to Joventut. Additionally, the club is expected to announce the signings of shooting guard Isaac Nogués and power forward Emir Sulejmanovic later this week.
