Four injured in vehicle collision on highway to Todos Santos, BCS; occupants rescued from overturned car

Four individuals sustained injuries on Thursday night following a collision between two vehicles on the highway leading to the popular tourist town of Todos Santos in Baja California Sur. The crash occurred on the road connecting Cabo San Lucas with the town.

One of the vehicles overturned and landed several meters below the roadway. Specialized rescue teams were required to extract the injured occupants. Firefighters from Cabo San Lucas reported that the accident took place near the facilities of the Public Security and the State Attorney General's Office, on the northern edge of the city.

Upon arrival, rescuers found one vehicle overturned off the road, while the second vehicle showed significant damage to its front end. Paramedics provided immediate medical attention to the injured at the scene, stabilizing them before transporting them to local hospitals. A traffic operation was implemented to manage the area, prevent further risks, and facilitate rescue efforts. Traffic authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the causes of the crash and establish liability.
