Four Lost Individuals Rescued in Los Dinamos; Security Secretariat Advises Precautions in Forested Areas

Four individuals who became lost in the Los Dinamos area of Mexico City were successfully rescued by the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC). The group, consisting of three women and one man, was found in the Cuarto Dinamo section of the wooded park.

Police officers from the "Zorros" Task Force responded to an emergency report and initiated a search operation in the challenging terrain. They eventually located the group after hearing cries for help. The individuals were visibly distressed from being lost but were safely transported to a secure location.

Paramedics from the Emergency Rescue and Medical Services (ERUM) assessed the rescued individuals before they were taken to the Los Dinamos parking lot. The SSC has issued recommendations for visiting wooded and high-mountain areas, particularly during the rainy season when terrain conditions can heighten risks.

Precautions advised include informing family or friends about your location and expected return time, staying on established trails, and avoiding unfamiliar areas. Additionally, visitors should carry sufficient water and food, a portable phone charger, warm clothing, and footwear suitable for slippery surfaces.
