Free educational convoys and operational rooms formed to monitor year-end exams in Port Said

In a proactive move to ensure the smooth conduct of upcoming examinations and to bolster educational support for students, the Directorate of Education in Port Said convened a significant meeting. Mahmoud Badawi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in the governorate, led discussions aimed at optimizing the educational process for the 2025-2026 academic year.

A key initiative announced is the launch of free educational convoys. These convoys, staffed by elite subject matter experts, will provide crucial review sessions for students facing the preparatory and general secondary certificate examinations. This measure is designed to alleviate the financial burden on parents and provide students with high-quality academic reinforcement, reflecting the directorate's commitment to accessible education.

The meeting also focused on administrative and logistical aspects. Directives were issued for the swift disbursement of financial dues to auxiliary service workers, ensuring they receive their entitlements in accordance with ministerial financial regulations. Furthermore, strict adherence to printing examination papers was emphasized, with a clear instruction against collecting any fees or donations from parents, relying solely on allocated funds for printing materials.

Looking ahead, preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year are already underway. The directorate plans to establish dedicated centers in each educational administration to facilitate the admission process for new students. This includes managing online registration, reviewing application files, and ensuring a seamless transition for students across all educational levels, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach to educational planning in Port Said.
