Free food distribution in Florida from July 27 to August 2

Residents in Florida facing food insecurity will have access to free groceries during the last week of July and the first week of August. Feeding Florida, in collaboration with several food banks and networks, is organizing distributions in 149 locations across ten areas.

In Tampa, seven sites will host eight events specifically for fresh produce. These include St. Luke AME, College Hill Mennonite, Tampa Underground, Metropolitan Community Church of Tampa, Victory Baptist, Tampa Deliverance Ministry, and Amazing Love Ministries. Dates range from Monday, July 27, to Saturday, August 1, with specific times and services like "fresh produce with appointment," "fresh produce," and "hot meals and fresh produce" noted.

Tallahassee will also see significant assistance, with ten locations offering pantry services, hot meals, and breakfast. Organizations like Little Sunshine Pantries, Cross Creek Family Resource Center, ECHO, Bond Community Health Center, Tallahassee Urban League, Good News Outreach, Maranatha S.D.A Church, and Florida A&M University Student Health are participating. Services in Tallahassee run from July 27 to August 2, with varying hours and offerings.
