Geely Coolray Turbo SUV Launched in Indonesia, Priced from Rp 333 Million

Geely Auto Indonesia has introduced the Geely Coolray, a compact SUV powered by a turbo engine, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 in Tangerang. This launch diversifies Geely's offerings in the Indonesian market, adding to its portfolio of electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).

The Geely Coolray is a global model with over 1.35 million users worldwide. In Indonesia, it is positioned to capture the compact SUV segment by emphasizing its turbo engine, advanced safety features, and connectivity options suitable for daily use. The vehicle is available starting at Rp 333 million.

Constantinus Herlijoso, Sales and Channel Development Director at Geely Auto Indonesia, noted the significant potential in Indonesia's internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle market, which still accounts for about 75 percent of consumer choices. He stated that the Coolray's arrival aligns with Geely's extensive experience in developing reliable ICE vehicles. The SUV features a 1.5-liter turbo engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, producing 174 PS and 290 Nm of torque. Drivers can select from four driving modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Adaptive.
