GIIAS 2026 to Offer Test Drives of 200 Vehicles

Visitors to the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 will have the opportunity to test drive a total of 200 vehicles, spanning a wide array of brands and categories. The event, organized by Gaikindo, aims to provide an enhanced experience for attendees, with a particular focus on improving the test drive facilities.

Anton Kumonty, Chairman of the GIIAS Organizing Committee, stated that the organizers are refining all aspects of the show, including the comfort and safety of the test drive areas. "One of them is by presenting a test drive and test ride area that is safer, more comfortable, and representative," Anton said in a written statement on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

The extensive fleet available for testing comprises 180 four-wheeled vehicles from 38 different brands and 20 two-wheeled vehicles from 11 brands. This initiative allows potential buyers to directly experience the performance and technology of the vehicles before making a purchase decision. The car test drive area is located at the loading dock between Hall 1 and Hall 10 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Bumi Serpong Damai City, Tangerang Regency, while motorcycle tests will be held in Hall 11.

GIIAS 2026 is scheduled to take place from July 30 to August 9. The exhibition will host 43 passenger car brands, 7 commercial vehicle brands, 13 motorcycle brands, 5 bodywork manufacturers, and over 150 supporting automotive brands. Ticket prices are Rp 50,000 for weekdays and Rp 100,000 for weekends when purchased online via Auto360, with on-site tickets costing Rp 75,000 and Rp 125,000 respectively.
