New York – Google has launched its latest smartphone series, the Pixel 11, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence to enhance camera capabilities and introduce new user features. The standout feature is the camera system, particularly on the Pixel 11 Pro, which boasts an AI-powered zoom that reaches up to 120x. This advanced zoom utilizes an AI diffusion model to fill in visual details, creating clearer images even at extreme magnifications. A spokesperson explained that users receive two versions of a zoomed photo: one enhanced by AI and the original capture. Importantly, AI enhancements are not applied to faces in photos, ensuring the authenticity of subjects even when the background is rendered with AI clarity.

Photos edited with AI will carry C2PA content credentials, a digital watermark indicating AI manipulation. This feature aims to provide transparency about image alterations. Google's 'Magic Capture' mode is another significant addition, allowing users to record video and then select the most expressive or action-packed moments as still photos. For instance, in a basketball game recording, the AI can identify and extract shots of the ball entering the hoop or players celebrating a score.

Furthermore, the new 'Creator Suite' in the video settings offers an integrated teleprompter that adjusts its scrolling speed to the user's speech. This suite also includes a 'social media grid' option, designed to help creators frame their shots so that essential elements are not obscured by platform-specific buttons like 'like' counts when uploaded online.
