GPCC supports Abokobi Polyclinic

The Global Peace Christian Centre (GPCC) has extended its support to the Abokobi Polyclinic in Ghana's Ga East Municipality through a significant donation of medical and essential supplies.

The contribution included items such as ceiling fans, detergents, digital blood pressure monitors, weight scales, mops, mop buckets, and bedsheets, aimed at enhancing the polyclinic's operational capacity and patient comfort.

Beyond the material aid, GPCC has established a partnership with the polyclinic to conduct regular health screening exercises within the Abokobi community and its surrounding areas. This initiative underscores the church's commitment to holistic human development, addressing both spiritual and physical well-being.

People are spiritual and physical beings, and for us as a faith institution, we want the society to understand that medical science is accepted by the Lord, so we have to combine both prayers and the promotion health.

Apostle Henry Ampomah-Boateng, founder and chairman of GPCC, stated that the gesture aligns with the center's mission to serve God and humanity. He emphasized that faith institutions should actively contribute to the physical and socio-economic development of society, integrating spiritual care with the promotion of health and well-being.

Wisdom Acheampong, Administrator of the Abokobi Polyclinic, expressed profound gratitude for the donation, noting that it would significantly improve the polyclinic's efficiency. He highlighted the church's fulfillment of its promise after inquiring about the facility's needs.
