Greece launches system for 2026 basic income support transfers

The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) in Greece has activated a new digital system for the transfer of basic income support rights, a crucial component for farmer sustainability in 2026. The online platform, accessible at dikaiomata.aade.gr, allows eligible farmers to transfer these rights, either fully or partially, to other active farmers. The recipient must be legally established in Greece, with exceptions for inheritance cases. This initiative aims to streamline the process of distributing agricultural support, forming the basis for the "Basic income support for sustainability" payments. Applicants must use their personal TAXISnet codes to submit transfer requests, which are then finalized by the recipient, unless the transfer is due to inheritance. The system accommodates various transfer scenarios, including those with or without land, and inheritance transfers. However, rights allocated from regional reserves between 2023-2025 are generally non-transferable, except in cases of inheritance, force majeure, or exceptional circumstances.
